Control panel of the hosting account
To manage your hosting account, you can use cPanel. In it you can manage files, folders, mailboxes, FTP accounts, databases, backups and many other features in the hosting account.
TIP 1:
To the control panel cPanel always use encrypted connection. Also, make sure the panel password contains uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers.
Upload Website Hosting Account
To load a website, it is necessary to copy the contents of the website to the hosting account directory / public_html. The contents of a web page represent directories and files. In order for the web site to work on the server, its main file “index” must be titled, in very small letters: index.html, index.htm or index.php.
Before you lift the files that make up the site, you must delete or rename the index.html service file in the public_html directory.
Uploading files to the site is done via FTP by simply using FTP client.
TIP 2:
To upload multiple files and directories, always use FTP access. With FTP client much easier, fast and convenient you can upload content to your hosting account.
Directories and files on your hosting account
To access the directories and files, you can use FTP access to the FTP program or File Manager in the cPanel control panel in your web hosting account.
TIP 3:
Keep your hosting account in a neat and orderly manner. Remove unnecessary and unused files and directories. Files that you do not want to access via the web can be found at the root of your hosting account – / home / cpaneluser.

More than one website in the hosting account
In addition to the main domain, the hosting account has been activated, you can add more domains. Adding a new domain hosting account, such as add-on domain, allows you to use another website.

Look for the new directory locations (add-on domains) that are outside the public _html directory, for example / home / cpaneluser / mysite2 /. Thus the information in the hosting account has a structured manner and has no conflicts between the pages.

DNS (name server)
To associate your domain name with your hosting account, it is useful to assign the correct name server. What are the name servers for the hosting account you can find after you have entered the client profile, select hosting accounts in the right of the account and click on details.
The information for name server will be sent to the email address immediately after activation of the hosting account.
Each of Webhoster’s servers has its own name server. If the name servers are set for Webhoster’s domain , that does not mean that they are located on the server that is your hosting account.
Name Server (DNS) can be changed through the Control Panel provided by your domain registrar. The period of updating the DNS takes from 2 to 48 hours. During this time, the domain will not be active.
E-mail accounts
Control Panel allows you to create e-mail boxes with the name of your domain. Example: info@mysitename.com.
After activating the hosting account, in Control Panel will create an e-mail box that is inactive for security reasons. The name of the box is cpaneluser (username cPanel). The box can not and must not be used. The box can not be deleted. If you want to use an e-mail account named cpaneluser@mysitename.com , you must create it additional.
After you’ve created mailboxes, you can work with them via e-mail program or webmail.
TIP 6:
Set difficult passwords for mailboxes that contain uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers.
database
The rooting of a database is done by cPanel -> MySQL databases. Databases can be managed by the control panel cPanel -> phpMyAdmin or by removing space with an external program.
Archive (backup) of the data
Through Control panel cPanel you can create a full backup of your hosting account menu, “Backup.” When creating a backup, the archive is made up to date on the hosting account. The archive can be downloaded locally so a copy of the data can be kept on the account.
TIP 7:
Always make a backup of the data before you make any changes in website hosting account. Thus, if necessary, the information can be restored from the account.
